Peter Follett AIA, RIBA
Peter Follett joined the firm in 1991. He has been a project manager for several large developments in the U.S. and abroad.
Mr. Follett worked on both the master plan and first commercial building phase of Arboleda, a mixed-use development designed as an urban village in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Mexico, and for Sofia, an office/residential tower in the same city. He was also a project manager for ARIA Hotel & Casino, a 4,000-room resort hotel and the centerpiece of the CityCenter development in Las Vegas, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, which comprises a ballet opera house, concert hall and plaza in Miami. He is now a project manager for the Armani Residences at Sunny Isles Beach in Miami Beach, Florida, and for ITC Towers at XJH Centre in Shanghai.
Mr. Follett was a project architect for the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was involved in construction administration, design development, consultant interaction and site coordination for the project. He also headed construction administration and assisted in design, development, and coordination for the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas Concert Hall, located at the podium levels between the towers.
He has taught at the University of Hartford College of Engineering, Technology and Architecture, where he has also served as a juror. He received an Award of Excellence from the American Society of Architectural Perspectivists for a published rendering and traveling exhibition of artwork. His artwork and photographs have been published in World Architecture, A+U: Architecture and Urbanism, Summa, and Progressive Architecture.
Mr. Follett received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, where he was awarded the Luther Gifford Prize in Architecture and a Dean’s Thesis Citation.
