New Haven, Conn. (August 20, 2015) — Senior Principal Fred Clarke is in Hong Kong this week to participate in Asia’s first luxury design, furniture and lifestyle fair, International Design Furniture Fair Hong Kong . He will deliver the lecture “Art and Architecture at City Scale,” illustrating the design process of PCPA’s current project, Transbay Transit Center, under construction in San Francisco.
The inception of IDFFHK comes from a group of overseas-trained, Hong Kong-based architects who share a passion and vision to establish Hong Kong as a design center and to make great design more accessible. Fred will share the three-day program with acclaimed architects and designers Michael Ng, Partner, Foster + Partners; Lyndon Neri, Founding Partner, Neri & Hu Design and Research Office; Andre Fu, Principle, AFSO; Pinky Lai, former Chief Designer, Porsche; and Vincent Pang, winner of the competition to design the West Kowloon Cultural District Arts Pavilion.
PCPA projects in Hong Kong include the landmark tower, 2 International Financial Center , the tallest building in Hong Kong and part of a three building complex situated on the waterfront.
