NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Sept. 21, 2013) — Cesar Pelli will be a featured speaker at the 2013 Bienal Internacional de Arquitectura, Argentina’s most significant gathering for architecture.
Scheduled for Sept. 27, the lecture will highlight recent works of Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, including two under construction in Argentina, Torre Banco Macro in Buenos Aires and Maral Explanada in Mar de Plata. He will also present two new performing arts projects in the U.S., Hancher Auditorium at the University of Iowa and the Theatre School at DePaul University, among other works.
The four-day biennial festival and conference draws audiences from Argentina and abroad. Architects, students and architecture enthusiasts converge in Buenos Aires for the event, featuring lectures, exhibitions, workshops and awards at the Centro Cultural Recoleta and the Auditorio Buenos Aires.
