The 180-room Mandarin Oriental Hotel Tokyo is on the top ten stories of the Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. Offering panoramic views of Tokyo Bay and the Imperial Palace, the 41-story mixed-use tower is located on an entire city block in Muromachi, a district designated a cultural asset by the city of Tokyo. The tower links to the landmark Mitsui Main Building, built in 1929. The fourth floor of the historic building was renovated as a banquet space for the hotel.
Positioning itself as Tokyo’s leading luxury hotel, the hotel includes an exclusive spa and health club, a ballroom, a wedding chapel, restaurants and bars, boutique cellars, a cake shop and significant business, meeting and banquet facilities. Guestrooms and suites offer views of the Imperial Palace gardens, while the lobby and reception space feature views of the central business district.
