Ann Marie Baranowski Elevated to AIA College of Fellows

Ann Marie Baranowski, Associate Principal at Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, was inducted into the AIA’s College of Fellows, an honor awarded to those who have made contributions of national significance to the profession. The 2017 Jury of Fellows recognized Ann Marie Baranowski for strategically integrating art and architecture into original built forms of enduring value and advocating for culture as vital to the public realm. For this, she was elevated into the second category of fellowship that recognizes architects who have “advanced the science and art of planning and building by advancing the standards of architectural education, training, or practice.”

Ann Marie Baranowski now represents only three percent of AIA’s
total membership distinguished with this honorary fellowship. She was commended
at the New Fellows Reception hosted by the AIA New York Chapter on March 13,
2017, and she will be honored at an investiture ceremony at the AIA Conference
on Architecture 2017 being held in Orlando, Florida on April 27-29, 2017.
