Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects’ Roberts Center for Pediatric Research has received the Award of Merit for Healthcare and Research in the 2017 Best Project Awards from ENR Mid-Atlantic. The jury included two panels of industry judges that reviewed more than sixty projects throughout the region. Projects were measured on the ability to overcome challenges, contribution to the industry and community, safety and construction, and design quality.
The Roberts Center for Pediatric Research is located on the campus of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and expands the reach of pediatric care in the city of Philadelphia. The 22-story tower integrates existing genetic and genomics centers together for streamlined clinical research, as well as providing genetics education for families and clinicians, medical training, informatics, clinical support, and counseling.
