9 November 2020

Salesforce Tower has received The American Architecture Award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. Salesforce Tower is the tallest building in San Francisco and now joins the Golden Gate Bridge and the Transamerica Building as one of the skyline’s defining elements. Certified LEED Platinum, the tower has the largest on-site recycling system in a commercial high-rise in the United States.

This awards program is one of the most comprehensive in the United States that supports the best new American architectural design on a global scale. For almost three decades, The American Architecture Awards have recognized the evolution of global architecture and emerging design direction by today’s leading firms. Cutting-edge projects that were featured in this year’s award include corporate offices and headquarters, commercial high-rise towers, housing, museums, cultural institutions, performing arts centers, libraries, colleges and schools, religious structures, sports facilities, hospitals, transportation centers, and city planning from cities across the United States and the world.
