Salesforce Tower Topping Off Ceremony in San Francisco
On April 6, 2017, Senior Principal Fred Clarke and Principal Edward Dionne attended the historic topping off ceremony for Salesforce Tower. With this important milestone event, Salesforce Tower is now the tallest building in San Francisco at 1,070 feet and is a prominent landmark in the city’s skyline.
Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects won an international competition in 2007 to design the tower and Salesforce Transit Center at its base. Together, these two buildings represent a forward-thinking approach to public-private collaboration and sustainability in an urban setting.
Other key attendees at the ceremony included Salesforce Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee, and Boston Properties Executive Vice President Bob Pester, among other special guests.
