The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater Wins IEDC Silver Award for Best Public-Private Partnership
The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) has presented a Silver Award for best public-private partnership to the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater and Regent Street development. Salt Lake City received the award on the behalf of all those involved in this important project, including Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects who was Master Planner of the entire city block and Design Architect for the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater.
Planned as the region’s premier entertainment venue, the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater is a contemporary landmark for Salt Lake City. The 2,500-seat, state-of-the-art theater attracts first-run touring Broadway shows and concerts. Located downtown, the building anchors a vibrant arts district.
