Wintrust Arena Wins AIA Award

Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects received an Award of Merit from the 2019 AIA Connecticut Design Awards for the design of Wintrust Arena. Wintrust Arena is a contemporary multi-purpose event space in Chicago, providing a dynamic landmark destination. The arena is the home of DePaul University’s basketball teams and events for McCormick Place, the country’s largest convention center. This space also hosts large concerts and events.

The AIA Connecticut Design Awards is held on an annual basis to recognize the design achievements of Connecticut architects. Its 2019 Awards Gala will be held on December 9, 2019.
