FMC Tower at Cira Centre South Wins Willard Rouse Award
Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects’ FMC Tower at Cira Centre South has been honored with the Willard Rouse Award from the Urban Land Institute Philadelphia, a nonprofit research and education organization. This 47-story, mixed-use tower is the gateway to the emerging University City neighborhood of Philadelphia and is considered Philadelphia’s first vertical neighborhood by combining office, residential, retail, upscale amenities, and dining, which are vertically stacked, into one location.
The Urban Land Institute (ULI) recognizes outstanding and transformational land use developments. Projects that represent the highest standards of achievement and advance the ULI mission of providing leadership in the responsible use of land as well as sustaining thriving communities receive this prestigious award.
