Residences by Armani/Casa Now Open
Situated on the main thoroughfare of Sunny Isle Beach in Miami, Florida, the highly anticipated Residences by Armani/Casa is now open. This 60-story oceanfront, luxury tower is designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and the first real estate property in the United States by the globally-admired Armani brand. Standing at nearly 200 meters, this residential tower is the tallest on the island and provides unparalleled views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway.
“We took an extraordinary opportunity to return to Miami for a design collaboration with Dezer Properties, Related Group, Armani Casa, and Sieger Suarez Architects; creating a unique tower with a memorable presence on the Miami skyline,” commented Principal Gregg Jones, AIA of Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects who led the design of the project. “The tower form is composed of two intertwined sail-like shapes, billowing and expanding as they rise. We believe that we’ve created something elegant and understated; conveying a sense of timelessness.”
The design of the tower is elegant and striking against the expansive ocean. With chamfered ends meandering outward towards the top, the exterior creates a dynamic composition along the narrow oceanfront. Between the raised pool deck and the private beach, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects designed unique cabanas which cascade down to the beach, reminiscent of a steep Mediterranean shorefront village. The openness of the design invites residents to mingle and socialize; a wooden path along the cabana decks offers leisurely strolls and fosters engagement with neighbors.
The amenities in this luxurious condominium tower include a spa, wellness center, movie theater, private restaurant, wine-tasting lounge, cigar room and wine cellar, and exclusive services on its private beach. Sophisticated design touches include a silk-encased lobby and professionally curated collection of museum-quality art.
