Sidra Medicine to Celebrate Grand Opening

Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects is proud to announce that Sidra Medicine will celebrate its grand opening on November 12, 2018. Principal Mark Shoemaker, AIA will travel to Doha, Qatar to attend the event. Sidra Medicine is designed to be a world-​class hospital with state-​of-​the-​art clinical services, providing an environment to attract the best healthcare talent in the world. This healthcare and research complex links both physically and institutionally to the Weill Cornell Medical College in Education City, which hosts branch campuses of American universities.

Sidra Medicine is part of a larger educational campus called Education City, which houses leading international institutions such as Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, Georgetown University, Carnegie Mellon University, HEC Paris, as well as national research centers such as Qatar Biomedical Research Institute and Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute.
