This state-of-the-art facility is home to enriching amenities for patients, families, researchers, and medical professionals in one centralized location. Collaborative research facilities including wet labs, classrooms, and a 300-seat auditorium complement the adult and pediatric clinical care areas, advanced medical imaging facilities, wellness space for yoga and group activities, and family resource center.
“The MART brings together Stony Brook clinicians and researchers to share ideas and inspiration in ways never before imagined, to drive discovery and innovation.” — Kenneth Kaushansky, MD, Senior Vice President, Health Sciences, and Dean, Stony Brook University School of Medicine
Designed to uplift
A sense of wonder and delight fill the interiors, providing an approachable and hopeful environment to those seeking treatment and serving as a catalyst for new discoveries through top-tier research. Vibrant, calming colors and abstract shapes adorn the interiors with a sense of playfulness.
