The main façade with its striking vertical stripe pattern creates a distinctive identity for Stony Brook Medicine.
The Bed Tower features a glass building envelope to complement the recladding of the existing inpatient bed towers. This minimalist curtain wall has a strong horizontal metal reveal at each level to provide contrast to the Medical and Research Translation Building’s façade.

Designed to uplift

A sense of wonder and delight fill the interiors, providing an approachable and hopeful environment to those seeking treatment and serving as a catalyst for new discoveries through top-tier research. Vibrant, calming colors and abstract shapes adorn the interiors with a sense of playfulness.
