Pavilion at Brookfield Place
The Pavilion is the new front door into Brookfield Place, the Lower Manhattan landmark formerly known as the World Financial Center, designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. This glowing entry is a grand new room through which 35,000 commuters and visitors will travel daily. Softly curving glass walls define its exterior. Inside, a pair of 54-foot-tall expressive columns — woven for a basket-like appearance — supports the roof and enclosure.
